4th of July
"World's Shortest Parade" Aptos will once again celebrate the 4th of July in grand ole style! The Cabrillo Lions and Britannia Arms will host the Pancake breakfast at 8017 Soquel Drive from 7:30 until 10:00 a.m.; the World’s Shortest Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of Soquel and State Park Drives and continue to the Bay View Hotel. After the parade, bring the family to Aptos Village Park where there will be festivities for all to enjoy. Live Music will be provided by local favorite band “Extra Large”. The Party in the Park will have plenty of food, games and fun for the whole family. The festivities will be from 11-4 p.m. Donations of $5 for adults are appreciated, children, as always, are free. Happy 4th of July! Parade entries are still being accepted at the Aptos Chamber office, Monday Through Friday from 9-5, and on July 3 from 9-3. Entrants can also download a form from the Aptos Chamber website at www.aptoschamber.com and fax it in.

The Aptos History Museum Presents "A Night to Rally" Join us for a Party by the Pool at Seascape Sports Club, 1505 Seascape Blvd. on Friday, July 17th at 5:00pm. Tickets are $45; includes Comerica Bank Challenger, Fine Wines, horsd' oeuvres from local Restaurants, Music, Silent Auction & Raffle, Great Professional Tennis, ATP World Ranked Players & More! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Our Very Own Aptos Schools!
