2. SERVICES:

Referrals by the thousands are made by the Chamber Staff; over the telephone and in person, to those interested in recommendations on goods and services and general information. Newcomers, visitors, residents and other members inquiring of services are referred to members. Ribbon Cuttings and Ground Breakings for new businesses who are Chamber members. Mailing Labels can be used to increase your direct mail opportunities. Certificates of Origin are free to members shipping goods outside the country. Discounts abound for our members for events, publications, services, products and programs. Holiday Hotline helps the community find just the right gifts through member businesses. Newsletters and Monthly Mailings focus on new members, grand openings, member news and Chamber committee updates. Also, a great opportunity to promote yourself to your target market at very low rates. Demographic Facts & Figures for members' use in business planning and marketing. The Chamber serves as a reference center of statistics about local business and the community. New Business Information and requirements. Small Business Development Center will teach you what you need to know. They offer free one-on-one counseling by appointment and "How to Seminars". The Chamber cosponsors all of these events.

3. MARKETING:

Business Directory & Buyer's Guide lists members free of charge.

• Brochure Racks are available at no cost to members. Promotional Literature is distributed through the Chamber Office and Visitor Center which has thousands of visits annually by potential customers seeking goods and services.
• Aptos Area Map published by the Chamber of Commerce offers display advertising that works all year long and is the only accurate map of the area.
• Business Showcase Trade and Restaurant Show provides members with the opportunity to showcase their goods and services to other businesses and the public.
• Internet Web Page provides information and a listing of members with links to their own home pages.
• Central Coast Travel Guide provides an opportunity to promote yourself to the many visitors of our county.
